Wilton and Malta sites. High
School or GED required and experience in Human Services preferred. General responsibilities include providing
mentoring, guidance and personal direct care to participants in a classroom
setting. This position is supervised by the Day Services Instructor. Must have a valid New York driver's license and be acceptable to the ARC's
insurance standards. Other
responsibilities include direct services to consumers in accordance with his/her
Individual Program Plan. He or she will
provide direct assistance in all areas of individual care (including but not
limited to--personal hygiene, dining and socialization skills). Additionally,

40 hrs/wk., Monday – Friday from 2:00 – 10:00pm in the Residential Program. The qualifications for this position are a graduate of an accredited school of practical
nursing, current New York State LPN license, valid NYS driver's license

responsibilities include that the LPN is
directly responsible to the Residential Supervising Registered Nurse with
respect to questions regarding Agency policies, practices or procedures. Other responsibilities are to perform specific nursing responsibilities under the
supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse, including but not limited to:
evaluating periodically the type, extent, and quality of nursing services and
reports immediately to the Supervising Registered Nurse; reviewing and
documenting health records and health care plans; administering medications as
necessary; Informing the Supervising Registered Nurse of service recipient's
health status; performing infection control monitoring of the home; assisting
individuals in the carrying out of prescribed therapies or treatments as

degree in human services or related field and five (5) years work experience in
the administration of residential services serving persons
with developmental disabilities, with two (2) years of supervisory
experience; a thorough knowledge of OMRDD regulations, state and federal laws
governing residential programs, and experience in program planning and

responsible for the on-going direction, quality, and development of residential

General duties are to be responsible for the development, training and

including but not limited to: Blood
Borne Pathogens, Medical Topics, CPR, First Aid, Medicine Administration, and
Bed Rail Safety; develop curriculums for future

all Agency medical in-service training; document and maintain computerized
